Royce Randolph Dial, 97, of Paragould, passed away Friday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Earl and Clella Huffine Dial. Royce was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country in World War II and was a P.O.W.. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher, and he was a retiree of City Light & Water. Royce is also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Murlene McFall Dial; two brothers, Leo Dial and Bill Dial; and four sisters, Pearl Mason, Reba Boling, Earline Mamczur, Freda Dial.
Survivors include daughter, Regenia (Floyd) Landrum, of Paragould; son, Kenneth (Jeanne) Dial, of Evans, Georgia; grandsons, Andy (Stacie) Landrum, of Paragould, Jacob (Steffany) Landrum, of Beebe, Nathan (Jessica) Dial, of Evans, Georgia, Matthew (Leslie) Dial, of Martinez, Georgia, and Brandon (Maura) Dial, of Augusta, Georgia; seventeen great grandchildren; brothers, J.W. Dial, of Paragould, and Jesse Dial, of Paragould; and sisters, Mary McFall, of Dittmer, Missouri and Willie Frances Williams, of Paragould.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:30-6:30 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 am at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Dial officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Nathan Dial, Matthew Dial, Brandon Dial, Andy Landrum, Jacob Landrum, and Luke Landrum.
