Ronald James Mcdaniel

Ronald James McDaniel, 66, of Lafe, passed from this life on Sunday, May 21, 2023. He was born in Monette on June 4, 1956, to Bea and the late James McDaniel. Ron worked in the auto body and paint industry for many years. Ron had a fun personality. He was known to do the unexpected and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed shooting pool and playing cornhole; however, his greatest love was his family. He was a loving son, dad, papaw, and friend. Ron was preceded in death by his father, James Edward McDaniel, and his son, Sydney James McDaniel.

Ron is survived by his daughter, Kristi (Romie) Campbell of San Antonio, Texas; sons, Adam (Shannon) McDaniel of Jonesboro and Josh McDaniel of Paragould; mother, Bea McDaniel of Lafe; grandchildren, Sarah McDaniel, River McDaniel, and Josephine McDaniel; sisters, Margaret (Larry) Woodruff of Paragould, Denise Sumner of Michigan, and Sandy Hampton of Paragould; and fiance, Becky Yarborough of Paragould.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 1-3 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 3 PM with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Pallbearers are Romie Campbell, Darion Norris, Phillip Davis, Cody Hampton, Dave Dowdy, J.R. Newsome, Richard Lawson, and Ed Sumner. Honorary pallbearers are Alex Woodruff and Philip Woodruff.
