Roger Dale Duty

Roger Duty, 71, of Arbyrd, passed away Sunday in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was employed at Tenneco for 44 years. Roger loved his grandchildren, fishing, shooting pool, and cooking. He was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church in Cardwell. Roger was the son to the late Sherman and Ida Ferrell Duty. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, William, Sherman "Bud", Robert, and Jerry Duty; and sisters, Magdalene Hughes and Sarah Jane Lewis.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Brenda Duty of the home; sons, Brad Duty of Arbyrd and Chris (Susan) Duty of Paragould; grandchildren, Tanner, Aiden, and Kamden Duty, all of Paragould; brother, Donald Duty of Lake Elsinore, CA; and sisters, Dorothy Jean Lewis of Vallejo, CA, and Vondean Swink of Tuscon, AZ.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 10 am Wednesday in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Todd Milburn officiating. Burial will be in Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Back, Lyman Zolman, William Naney, Rick Watkins, Steve Jackson, James Owens, Randy McDaniel, and Tommy Stockton. Memorials may be sent to the Children's Homes of Paragould.
