Robert "Rob" Hollyfield, 32, of Marmaduke, passed away on Sunday. He was a diesel mechanic at Hytrol. Rob was a decorated veteran having served overseas during his 8 years with the United States Coast Guard before being honorably discharged. He enjoyed everything water related, especially kayaking. He loved to snowboard, ride dirt bikes, and work on motors. He also had a love for music and was a drummer. Rob shared a birthday with his Grandpa Goeke and cousin, Seth. He was named after his Grandpa Goeke (mother's side) and Grandpa Robert Yarbrough (father's side). Rob was the son of Chuck and Nadine Hollyfield.
In addition to his unborn child due February 18, 2018, Rob is survived by his fiancé, Kacy Loar; parents; daughter, Harper Binx; brother, Joshua Hollyfield; Kacy's sons, Landon and Maddoux Loar; an aunt and uncle from California; an aunt and several cousins from Illinois; and a grandma, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins from St. Louis.
Visitation is Thursday evening from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Friday at 1 pm at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial is in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tim Boozer, Wesley Southerly, Charlie Carter, David Sir, Justin Stanfill, Frankie Humphreys, and Joshua Hollyfield.
