Robert Gerald "Bob" Hoepfl, 86, of Lafe, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on June 26, 1934 to the late Gerald Vincent and Margaret Ann Seitz Hoepfl. Bob lived a blessed life. He grew up in Rochester, New York. In his early adult years he traveled nationwide on the rodeo circuit as a bull rider. At one time on his journey, as he was recovering from an injury, he was asked to judge a rodeo in Paragould. At this rodeo is where he met his wife Linda, who he was married to for sixty three years. He was a cattle farmer and retired from Emerson Electric after forty plus years. Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hoepfl.
Survivors include his wife Linda Hoepfl of the home; children, Jerry (Tracey) Hoepfl of Lafe, Janet Murray of Lafe, and Karen (Joe) Swingle of Oxford, Mississippi; and grandchildren, Molly Swingle, Jack Swingle, Grayson Swingle, Ella Murray and Ryan (Kaye) Hoepfl.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Josh Stengal officiating. Pallbearers will be Ryan Hoepfl, Joe Swingle, Kevin Wills, and Kyle Wills.
