Robert Devon Morris, Sr.

Robert Devon Morris departed this earth on April 4, 2021 at the age of 90 years old. He was a deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church where he attended. He was born on September 25, 1930 to Ralph and Lina Morris.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lina Morris; son, Robert Devon Morris Jr.; step daughter, Cathy McDaniel; brother, Jimmy Dale Morris; sister, Martene McFall; sister and brother-in-law, Roy and Sharon Kay Thompson; and a niece, Monica McFall.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Morris, of fifty eight years; sons, Michael (Terri) Morris of Paragould and Parrish (Terry) Morris of Knob; grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Morris of Humble, Texas, and Krystle (Eric) Thul of Brookland; great grandchildren, Malachi and Leila Morris of Brookland, Mason and Taylor Morris of Humble, Texas; a special niece and nephew, Curtis and Shauna Hitt who has always been there for us. He is also surived by other nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 am at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Larry Catt, Jr., Danny Harmon, Malachi Morris, Fred Smith, Mika Thompson, and Cruz Hitt.
