Rex L. Hall, 78, of Paragould died Saturday at his residence. He was a farmer and served some time in the U. S. Army. Mr. Hall retired from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department with 28 years of service. Rex was born June 26, 1931, in the Brookland area and he was a member of the Paragould Church of God. Mr. Hall was a friend to everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Green and Mary Emma Jernigan Hall; brother, James H. Hall; sisters, Evelyn Wood and Ella Mae Johnston. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Charlene Ridge Hall of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Edward and Kelly Hall , Rex Steven and Mary Charlene Hall, and Donald Keith and Brenda Hall all of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Karen and Joe Gamblin of Jonesboro; brother, Walter Hall of Pine Bluff, AR. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Winford Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
