Rex Albert Woodhouse, 74, left for his eternal home from Arkansas Methodist Medical Center Tuesday, November 5, 2012. He was born July 24, 1938 in Armorel, Arkansas to Woodrow and Alberta (Peters) Woodhouse who preceded him in death as did his son Michael Woodhouse. Rex is survived by two granddaughters Michelle Woodhouse and Erica Woodhouse , and one step grandson Jeremy Brown all of Paragould, one brother Leroy and wife Lou Woodhouse of Paragould, three sisters Barbara and husband Bill Goodwin of Belleville, Illinois, Glenda and husband Boe Allen of Paragould and Brenda and husband Herman Jarrett of Fort Smith. Rex was of the Baptist belief; he was a Army Veteran and served in France. Rex was a pool player and spent many hours playing, a retired used car dealer who was fun loving and loved telling a good joke.Rex leaves behind two nieces Kathy (Allen) Knowles of Poplar Bluff and Kim Woodhouse of Paragould, one nephew Brian Goodwin of O-Fallon, Illinois, as well of host of cousins and friends. Services will be 11AM Friday, November 9, in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Royce Boling officiating, burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday, at the funeral home.
