Reva Ness

December 10, 1963 — August 6, 2024

Reva Yvonne Ness, a beloved resident of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, dedication to her family, and infectious zest for life. Born on December 10, 1963, Reva touched the lives of many during her time on Earth and her spirit will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her.

Reva was a pillar of strength, serving as an ordained minister at Harvest Time Church, where she passionately spread the message of love and faith. Alongside her spiritual endeavors, she excelled in her role as a homemaker and retired Nursing Home Supervisor at Belle Meade. Her children recall her as the strongest woman they had ever known, always dependable and resilient in the face of challenges.

Beyond her professional achievements, Reva found joy in the simple things in life. She was a self-proclaimed shopaholic, always on the lookout for deals at flea markets. Her love for dancing, spending quality time with her grandbabies, and sharing her faith with others were among the many things that brought her immense happiness.

Reva's memory will live on through her legacy and the cherished moments shared with her loved ones. She is survived by her children Hanna (Elysa Bonner) Brewer, April Thorn, Jonathan (JD) Brewer, and Rachel (James) Ness, as well as her grandchildren Peter, Isaac, Chastity, Jayven, and Raylynn, and her siblings; David Thomas, Dianna Thomas-Scarlet, Theresa Ivy, Tommy Oden, Shelly Brown, Joseph Luke, and Benjamin Luke.

Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Ness; her parents, Ilas Thomas, and Ellen Luke (Sickler); her brothers Richard Thomas and Kenneth Oden; her grandchild Anaiah Phillips; and her aunts Betty Cambron and Mildred Butler.
