Rev. Floyd Ryles

Rev. Floyd Ryles, 79, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Floyd was the son of the late W.D. Ryles and Marie Hanel Ryles. He is preceded in death by his brother, Basil Ryles and daughter Shawn Ryles. Floyd spent sixty years in ministry and was the pastor of River of Life Church in Paragould for thirty-six years. He was a faithful servant of God and loved his family and church family.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Marie Smith Ryles of the home; daughter, Yvonne Trapp of Paragould; son, Bryan Ryles of Paragould; four grandchildren, Brandon Tedder, Dallas Trapp, Alston Trapp, and Jayce Ryles; sister, Becky (Jerry) Pratt of Canton, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and his church family.

Visitation will be held Friday night at Heath Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at River of Life Church in Paragould with Rev. Bill Settles and Rev. Scott Trayler officiating. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Baskin, Eric McCord, Bryce Smithee, Keith Duclos, Alston Trapp, and Scott Mullins. Honorary pallbearers are Dallas Trapp, and Tracy Sherman.
