Reba Williams Stroud Franks, age 96, died on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Craighead Nursing Center in Jonesboro. Reba was born on June 9, 1914 in Clay County, Arkansas. She lived most of her life in Paragould and was a member of the First Church of God in Paragould for more than 65 years, having served as Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Secretary, member of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Flower Committee. She was also a resident of South Wind Heights in Jonesboro for the last eight years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard Marcus Stroud, her second husband, Clyde Oland Franks, her parents, John Wesley Williams and Mary Lee Newton Williams, one sister, Bertie Brandon, one brother, Elmer Williams, and four great grandchildren. Survivors are four daughters, Bonnie Walden and husband Max of Illinois, Wava Howley of California, Glenda Moore and husband Bob of Colorado, Sherrell Rodgers and husband Gary of Jonesboro, one son, Avon Franks and wife Jackie of North Little Rock, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30-11:30 a.m.at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Rocky Alexander, Jerry D.
