Randy Lynn Dodd, 56, of Paragould passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at his home. RD was born September 20, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, and was a retired Marine Corp Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Renee Dodd, of the home; mother, Imodean Harness of Missouri; children, Holly Beth Carr of Oklahoma, Jacqueline Elisa Shannon of Paragould, Amanda Nicole Dodd of South Carolina, Marshall Tyler Dodd of Paragould and Walker Lee Dodd of Paragould; 9 grandchildren who loved him dearly, Logan, Clara, Madi and Maci (love you Papa); sisters, Norma Jean Scarborough and Teresa Gayle Foster; brothers, Ricky Glenn Foster, Mark Keith Foster, Bobby Dwayne Foster and Ron Dale Foster; cousins, Gary Foster, Tom Foster, Dallas Foster, Monroe Lee King and Debbie Reed; great grandmother, Beckey Byrd, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gerri and Bob Nash; nephews, Blake VanSlyke, Andy (Lindsey) Ooley, Cody (Savannah) VanSlyke and countless other nephews, nieces, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Stanton Dodd and sister-in-law, Connie Mae VanSlyke. RD loved to be outside working, loved fixing up old cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly and has truly left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM, April 8, 2014 at Finch Baptist Church.
