Randy Allen Gates

Randy Gates, 52, of Paragould, passed away Saturday. He was a certified welder at Utility Trailer for 17 years. Randy loved attending rodeos and riding and training horses. He was the son of the late Johnny and Donna Gates.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Judy Gates; daugther, Amanda Apple (Tate) of Leachville; son, Brad Gates of Paragould; grandchildren, Millie Barker, Logan Apple, Levi Apple, and Braxton Gates; and sisters, Tonya Wilson and Michelle Beal.

Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral is Wednesday morning at 10 in Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Faulkner and Jarrid McGrew officiating. Burial is in Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Arkansas, at 2pm. Pallbearers are Jessie Ward, Bobby Clayton, Jeremy Miller, Bruce Wallace, Junior Travis, and Jeff Reece. Memorials may be sent to Lake Street Baptist Church.
