Randall Kline “Red” Jenkins was born 14 August 1928 in Halliday, Arkansas, to the late Fuller and Mary (Shearer) Jenkins. He passed away peacefully 4 November 2021. He is survived by his wife, Claire (Walker) Jenkins of Paragould, whose recorded voice serenaded him into the arms of the Lord. Both his sister, LouElla Jean (Russ) Schwamb, and his brother Wayne Jenkins joined their parents and welcomed him Home when he arrived. He is survived by his nephews, Phil and Steve (Linda) Schwamb, as well as his niece Janet (Butch) Heath.

He is also survived by his son, Randy (Stephanie) Jenkins, their four children and spouses, and ten grandchildren; his daughter Polly (Daniel) Medici; and finally his daughter Patricia Jean “Patty” Garner as well as her daughter Taylor (Trase) Davis and their daughter Emma Claire.

Red loved fishing, jigsaw puzzles, baseball, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He owned Jenkins Lumber & Supply, and later Jenkins Building Supplies. In his youth, he was a legion baseball player, and later a coach.

At the time of his passing, Red was the senior active member of the First United Methodist Church of Paragould, Arkansas. The church supported him with kindness and ministry throughout his life, up to and including the time of his passing. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable contributions to the church he Loved, FUMC Paragould, in his memory.

Above all, he loved people. He never knew a stranger, and few who met him forgot him.

He will be sorely missed.
