Ralph David Jackson

Ralph David Jackson, 72, of Brookland, died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. Ralph was born to Fletcher and Ella (Reames) Jackson August 14, 1941 in Lafe, Arkansas. Ralph was a member of the Rosewood Baptist Church and retired from Emerson Electric and the United States Army. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ruth Mae Jackson, five brothers Dalton, Tommy, Bobby, Jimmy and Lawrence and one sister Joan Ray. Survivors include his wife Georgia Jackson; four sons Douglas Boggs, Ronnie Ellis of Newport; Michael Ellis of Paragould; Keith Allen Jackson, Stonewall; one daughter Leslie Wright of Marion; six grandchildren, one brother Howard Jackson of Searcy; four sisters Helen Tevebaugh of Fults, Illinois; Betty Brewer, Joyce Messer and Shirley Holland all of Paragould. Services will be 2PM Sunday in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Heath Vines officiating. Visitation will be 6-8PM Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to heathfuneralhome.com.
