Ralph Allen Routon, 75, of Paragould, passed from this life on July, 15, 2022. He was born in Hanford, California, on December 3, 1946, to the late Prather and Lola Watts Routon. Ralph is a veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his service, he met Carolyn Walton, who was also born in Hanford but never crossed paths until they both lived in Paragould. After four months of dating, they married on September 16, 1968. Ralph was a farmer, and he spent many years working in the fields. In his spare time, he loved the outdoors. He could always be found with a fishing pole in his hand or hunting in the woods. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tommy Routon.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carolyn; daughter, Holly (Billy) Parker of Bull Shoals; son, Blake (Heidi) Routon of Paragould; grandchildren, Hannah (Kalen) Burns, Colby Noel (Briancé McBroom), Marshall Morgan (fiancée, Kamryn Dearing), Hannah (Blake) Richardson, Braydon Morgan (Kaylan Decker), and Tori Parker; great grandchild, Parker Burns; sisters, Connie (Richard) Collier of San Antonio, Texas, and Judy Routon of Marmaduke; brothers, Michael (Patricia) Routon of Petal, Mississippi, and Dennis (Joyce) Routon of Lafe; and sister-in-law, Patsy Routon.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 4-6pm at Heath Funeral Home.
