Peter Don Sparks

Don Sparks, 46, Paragould, died Tuesday, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born July 26, 1965, in West Memphis, Arkansas the son of Martha McElroy Sparks and the late Woodrow “Woody” Sparks. Don worked at Post Cereal, formerly worked for AMMC Ambulance Service, was an Army Veteran and a member of Reynolds Baptist Church. He adored his family and loved animal rescue. Survivors include his wife: Sonya Sparks; daughter: Gracie Danielle Sparks, both of the home; mother: Martha Sparks of Paragould; brothers: John Sparks of Ozark, MO and Frank Sparks of Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel, 10:30 AM, Friday, with Reverend Dave White officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
