Peggy Hester Richardson

Peggy Diane Richardson, 59, Paragould, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at UAMS in Little Rock. Peggy was born January 23, 1952 in Paragould the daughter of Alvia Vaniel Wright Nelson and the late Hobert "Bus" Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David and Stephen Nelson. Peggy was involved in radio sales and was part owner of MOR Media. She was involved in the Arkansas Children’s Network Radiothon, Children's Miracle Rodeo and several other philanthropic activities. She enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling and was the proud Nana of three grandbabies. Survivors include her mother: Alvia Vaniel Nelson of Marmaduke; daughters and sons-in-law: Misty and Tom Carlyle of Conway, Chalee and Terry Bailey of Paragould; sister and brother-in-law: Melissa and Bruce Braman of Marmaduke; brothers: Hershel and Brenda Nelson of Marmaduke, Paul "Johnny" and Linda Nelson of Haliday; grandchildren: Ruby Grace Carlyle, Falyn Jade Carlyle and Corbin Reese Bailey; best friend and father of her children: Jeff “Bo” Hester of Paragould and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, clients, colleagues and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, at Heath Colonial Chapel. Her life will be celebrated after visitation at Heath Colonial Chapel, 6:00 PM, Tuesday, with Reverend Charles Abanathy officiating.
