Patricia “Patte” Ann Case Horner left this world, September 5, 2019 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Paragould.

She was born to the late Harry R. and Virginia Case on October 3, 1933 in Batesville, Arkansas. She attended Hendrix College in Conway as a vocal major. She married the late Harold Horner in 1951. Survivors include sons Casey (Bridgette) and
Chris (Tabatha) Horner. Survivors also include granddaughters Alexis Dearing (Seth), Kyleigh, Natalie and Anna Horner.

Patte had a great love for life, and was a life long volunteer for her community. Her talents were many! Patte was an achieved pianist and vocalist that loved performing for an audience. Her love and dedication to the fine arts gave her the platform to educate, instill confidence and class in many young people that she grew to love. Patte was the proud director of many fashion shows, The Nancy Taylor Finishing School, and an accomplished pageant director. Through her days as a pageant director, she led many young women to Miss Arkansas and even Miss America. Patte was a beloved daughter, niece, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she knew. She will forever be missed by all that loved her.

Visitation will be at Heath Funeral home on Monday, September 9 from 1pm-3pm with service to follow immediately after.

Pallbearers include Keith Crook, Kevin Lang, Brian Osborn, Mardy Holmes, Danny Witcher and Luke Cook.
