Orval F. Prestage, 90, of Paragould, died Thursday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Orval was born to the late Sam and Martha (Kinsey) Prestage January 14, 1924 in Tallapoosa, Missouri. Orval was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Paragould Christian Church and an active member of the Paragould Senior B.E.E.S. Orval is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Arlene Cordell; step-brother, James Prestage; step-sister, Betty Conner; his grandmother that raised him, Julie Ann (Jarrett) Prestage and a special friend, Melissa Gallop. He is survived by his nephews, Carl (Bonnie) Fesler of Paragould, Montgomery (Nancy) Jackson of Bonita Spring, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews spanning over three generations and one special friend, Vivian Pentecost. Services will be 2:30 PM Sunday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Dewayne Dutka officiating, burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
