Orval Eugene Shannon

Orval Eugene Shannon, 84 of Paragould, died Sunday at St, Bernard’s Medical Center. He was a retired Police Officer from Crosby, TX and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Laura Clayton Shannon; sisters, Gertrude Pruett and Rosa Lee McNeely. Survivors include daughters, Julie Wolfe of Kingwood, TX and Beverly Kenney of St. Louis, MO; son, Michael Shannon of Brenham, TX; sister, Patsy Jones of Paragould; grandchildren, Kelly Young, Shannon Wilson, Leslie Hooker, Bret Taylor and Sarah Taylor. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in Heath Colonial Chapel with Todd Milburn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Pruett, Larry Pruett, Jesse Fry, Jim Whitney, Ronnie Dillon and Bob Haward.
