Opal L. Gillean

Opal L Gillean, 84, of Paragould, died Tuesday, February 24, at Belle Meade Nursing Center in Paragould. Opal was a sewing machine operator for Lawrence Manufacturing for 25 years and a member of Center Hill Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth Lee. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Lee and Lehman Lee. Opal is survived by her husband, Amos Gillean of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, Emma Lou and John C. Mowry of Farmington, Missouri; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Kevin and Cathy Mowry of Lenexa, Kansas; great grandson, Ethan Joseph Mowry of Lenexa, Kansas; great granddaughter, Reese Autumn Mowry of Lenexa, Kansas; brothers, Leon Lee of Jonesboro, Earl Lee of Strawberry, and Frank Lee of Paragould; and sister, Beulah Jackson of Russellville, Alabama. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10-11 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Funeral service will begin at 11 am in Heath Colonial Chapel with Michael Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
