Onegin Hunt

Onegin Hunt, 78, of Paragould, died Saturday at her home. She was born January 1, 1930 in Flint,MI the daughter of the late Oliver and Olene Farrar Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Futrell Hunt; brothers, James Edward Scott and Douglas Scott. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church for the first part of her life and for the last 27 years, she belonged to Lake Street Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Robert May; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Lisa Hunt; sisters: Phyllis Manis, Vida Rhoades, all of Paragould, Shirley Malick of Little Rock; grandchildren: Paige Mears of Jonesboro, Heather Dunlap of Piggott, Russell Hunt, Jr., Anthony Ross Hunt, both of Paragould and Bradley Elkins of Hot Springs and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Heath Funeral Home. Her life will be celebrated at 1:30 Tuesday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Adrian Denham officiating.
