Odell Weaver

Odell Weaver, 86, of Paragould, died on Saturday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Odell loved cooking and gardening. She was the daughter of the late Lula Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, J.P. Weaver; step father, William Rogers; grandson, Matthew Parson; and sister, Opal Crabtree.

Survivors include her children, Johnny (Janeth) Weaver, James "Runt" (Jan) Weaver, Brenda (Harold) McIllwain, Linda (Alan) Parson, Pam (Donnie) Slatton, and Tammy (Jim) Carner, all of Paragould; grandchildren, Wayne, Rodney, Clint, and Nick Weaver, Robbie McIllwain, Lana Moore, Krissy Smith, Casey Parson, Sarah Cooper, Joshua Slatton, Jenny Hollis, and Kristian, Caleb, and Colton Carner; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 pm at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gary Smith officiating.
