Neal Ainley

Neal Thomas Ainley, 60, passed away Wednesday at Saint Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. Neal was the son of the late Dr. Charles "Chick" Ainley and Wyona Ainley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, M.B. Ainley, Sr. and Helen Ainley of Corning and Herbert and Norine Hartwig of Success. Neal was a star athlete at Paragould High School and had careers in banking, investing and as a business owner. He was an avid sports fan and loved basketball and football.

Survivors include children Caitlin Ainley of Honolulu, HI, Casey Weeks of Providence, RI, Alex Ainley of Dallas, TX and Adam Butler of Paragould. Grandchildren are Will and Nadja. He also leaves two sisters, Lauren Heffelman of Pleasant View, TN and Carol Bjorn of Soquel, CA and a brother, Dr. Alan Ainley of Paragould.

Visitation will be Saturday night from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Heath Funeral Home Sunday afternoon at 1pm with Gerald James officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. Lasting memorials can be sent to Grace Baptist Church at Box 2-6012, 2503 West Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450 or the Greene County Community Fund.
