Mildred Gay Ellington, 85, formerly of Paragould, passed away Tuesday in Starkville, Mississippi. She was born May 8, 1925 in Beech Grove the daughter of the late Barney and Bertha Horne Lloyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Ellington. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Paragould. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Patsy and Dr. Lloyd Humphrey of Starkville, Mississippi, Brenda Johnson of Paragould; son and daughter-in-law: Kenny and Tammy Ellington of Lake City; sisters: Marian Pierceall of Morton, Illinois, Lodema DeVoll, Velma Miller, both of Paragould, grandchildren: Angela (David) Kennedy, Laura Ann (Ben) Moore, Blake (Tara) Johnson, Amber (Jason) Kingston and seven great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service, 11:00 AM Friday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Lloyd Humphrey officiating.
