Michael Lynn Blankenship

Michael "Mike" Lynn Blankenship, 65, of Paragould, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on September 1, 1958, to the late David and Agnes Cooper Blankenship. Mike met his bride, Linda, in the St. Louis area in the late 1970s. They wed on March 8, 1980, and moved to Paragould a few years later. Mike went to work at Martin Sprocket & Gear, and he retired from there almost 30 years later. Mike loved to read western books and novels. He could play the guitar, and he enjoyed listening to music. While he found these hobbies entertaining, his true joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Mike loved his wife, daughters, and grandchildren, and he will be dearly missed by all of them. Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Blankenship of Paragould; daughters, Jamie (Michael) Campbell and Melissa Stone, both of Paragould; grandchildren, Dallas Stone, Aaron Rogers, and Paige Campbell, all of Paragould; and sister, Sandra (David) Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri.

A private burial will take place at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
