Maydean Gossett

Maydean Gossett, 93, of Marmaduke, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born near Paragould, June 29, 1915 to the late William P. Whitney and the late Delcie (Riggs) Tyner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil "Moot" Gossett, son, Raymond Gossett, grandson, Johnny V. Mullins, Whitney brothers and sisters: Goldie, Hester B., Mattie M., Tollie G., Argalie, James; Tyner brothers and sister: Stanley, Graham, Mary L., and nephew Billy Ray Tyner. She was a homemaker living most of her life in Marmaduke except for a few years in California. She is survived by her son: Robert Gossett of the home; grandsons: Robbie Mullins and wife Heather of Paragould; Ray Gossett and Mother Kiyo of Oxnard, California; Johnny and Tracy Gossett of Pleasanton, California; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, at Heath Funeral Home.
