Matthew Alan Rowland

Matthew Alan Rowland, 33 of Paragould passed away Saturday morning at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born in Jonesboro and had lived in Paragould his lifetime. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Mabel Gramling and O. E. and Minnie Rowland.

He is survived by his parents, Donnie and Judy Rowland of the home; sister, Angela (Jerry) Pentecost of Manila; brother, Todd Rowland of Stanford; nieces, Tiffany (Jansen) Newcom and Sarah Pentecost; nephew Zachery Pentecost; great-nephew, Wyatt Newcom; numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 pm in the chapel of Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Pentecost and Rev. Ed Seay officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Gramling, Kelly Gramling, Steve Powers, Chris Powers, Rusty Schultz and Josh Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Dot Cattrell, Lisa Gipson, Debbie Rowe, and Karen Exelby.

The family would like to thank Greene County Special Education and Focus. They have helped us through many challenges during Matthew's lifetime. We are so blessed to have them be a part of our life through Matthew's life.
