Mary Lee Martin

Mary Lee Martin, 88, of Paragould, died September 18, 2013, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Mary was born December 14, 1924, in Cardwell, Missouri, to the late Roger Lee and Gladys (Stewart) Bateman. Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, James Wallace Martin, infant son, Dennis Keith Martin and brother-in-law, Jonnie Wilkins. Mrs. Martin was a member of Paragould First Baptist Church. Mary is survived by three siblings: Glenavee and her husband Henry McFarland of St. Charles, Missouri, Barbara Jo Wilkins of Paragould, Ken and Patsey Bateman of Bermuda Run, North Carolina, and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will begin Saturday at 12:00 P.M. and will be until service time. Her life will be celebrate at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Steve Bateman and Reverend Jason Treadaway officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
