Mary Lee Boren

Mary Lee Boren, 72, of Paragould, died Friday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Mary was retired from Arkansas Methodist Medical Center as Unit Secretary. She attended the Paragould Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verne and Verna Sanders Ellis; husband, Allen Boren; son, Eddie Mitchell; and grandmother, Cora Sanders.

Survivors include her children, Billy (Tammy) Mitchell of Paragould, Debbie (Hugh) Walker of Paragould, Phillip (Teresa) Mitchell of Natchitoches, LA, and Bobby (Shena) Boren of Paragould; brothers, Frank Ellis of Jonesboro, Bob Ellis of Gulfport, MS, Gary Ellis of Paragould, and William Chapmon of Paragould; sisters, Cheryl Fields of Mayfield, KY, Melove Chapmon of Paragould, and Lisa Swan of Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery. Send memorials to the American Heart Association.
