Mary June Hyatt Jolly

Mary June Jolly, 90, of Paragould, passed from this life on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was born on June 28, 1932, to the late Rev. William Carl and Ethel Hicks. June was a homemaker for most of her life. For a time, she did office work at the shoe factory. June was a member of Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Paragould. She loved going to church and being involved in church activities. She was a pianist, and she played the piano at church for more than 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Dallas Lawrence Hyatt.

June is survived by husband, Rev. Jerry Jolly of Paragould; self-adopted children, Danny Nelson of Paragould and Dalis Gayle Sprinkle of Jonesboro; brother, William "Bill" (Tanya) Hicks of Paragould; and nieces, Karlisa Detherige of Spencer, Indiana and Teresa (Randy) Ryan of Brookland.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday morning at 10:30 at Heath Funeral Home with Revs. Jerry Jolly, Boyce Cate, and Fred Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers are Paul King, Bryan Wright, Jerry Coleman, Hershel Emert, Darrel Rowland, and Terry Jolly. Memorials may be sent to the Tenth Street Missionary Baptist Church in Paragould. The family would like to specially thank Dr. Stephen Woodruff, Ashley House, and all attending physicians and nurses at NEA Baptist Hospital for their extraordinary care and compassion.
