Mary Lavedna Gray, 80, of Paragould, departed this life on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Mary was born on December 30, 1944, and was a kind-hearted and dedicated individual, cherished by her family and friends.
Mary was a proud graduate of Stanford High School, graduating in 1962, and went on to have a fulfilling career as a factory worker, contributing her talents at the Shirt Factory, Belk Simpson, and LA Darling. She was united in marriage to Curtis Eugene Gray on June 29, 1963, sharing a loving partnership that lasted 47 years.
In her leisure, Mary found joy in cross-stitching and nurturing her beautiful garden, which was a testament to her nurturing nature. She took great pride in mowing the yard and creating a warm and inviting home for her family. An avid sports fan, Mary was a devoted supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks, often referred to as a "front row fan."
Mary is survived by her son, Terry (Debby) Gray of Paragould; beloved grandsons, Andrew (Elizabeth) Gray of Ft. Worth, Texas, Matthew Tanner (Crislyn) Gray of Paragould, and Cameron Gray of Paragould; great-granddaughter, Sofia Gray of Paragould; brother, Jimmy (Taun) Smith of Stanford; sister-in-law, Kerron Smith of Paragould; aunt, Ruthie Tindall of Paragould; and many nieces and nephews.
