Mary Elizabeth Olcott met her Savior on December 10, 2011, passing at the home of her sister Deloris in Paragould, AR. Born on October 15, 1946 in San Diego,CA, Mary was the eighth child of twelve born to Elvin and Hattie Johnson. Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Herbert, Charles, and Phillip, sisters Bonnie Vonell, Linda Kay, Myrna Marie, and Betsey Sue, and firstborn grandson AJ. Mary’s life is celebrated by sons Charles and Kenneth, daughters Connie Lueke and Terri Pepper, siblings and their spouses: Jerry and Myrna Johnson, and Larry Johnson, Deloris and Linus Roach, and Shelia and Earl Hartenstein, 11 grandchildren, along with loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends. Mary lived her life in service to her Lord as an example for others to follow. The main burden of her heart was to see her family join her in Christ. Mary loved being a grandmother. She also was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and a Razorback fan as well. She loved fishing and being out of doors, and bird watching. Mary attended Grace Tabernacle in Blytheville, AR. Visitation will be at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, AR on Tuesday, December 13 from 12pm till 1pm with service to immediately follow in Heath Colonial Chapel. Internment will be at Shiloh Cemetery.
