Mary "Dolly" Ada Anderson

Mary Ada "Dolly" Anderson, 85, of Paragould, passed from this life on Sunday, September 17, 2023. She was born in the Missouri bootheel on August 3, 1938, to the late George and Annie Wagner. Dolly graduated from Cardwell High School and DePaul School of Nursing. She married Glen Anderson on May 9, 1957. Dolly worked as a Registered Nurse throughout her career. Dolly enjoyed socializing with friends and singing. She wrote beautiful poetry and was truly generous and giving to all. Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah "Annie" Wagner; husband of 64 years, Glen Edward Anderson; daughter, Dianna Marie Christian; and brother, Billy Joe Wagner.

Dolly is survived by her sons, Creighton D. Anderson of Paragould and Joshua (Dawn) Anderson of Casselberry, Florida; daughters, Debra "Darlene" (Bobby) Anesi of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Lisa K (Jerry) Crust of Columbia, Missouri; sisters, Rachel "Snookie" Geer of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Rebecca June Chretien of St. Louis, Arlus Blackwell of St. Louis, and Marilyn Gibbs of Palm Bay, Florida; grandsons, DJ (David) Hill and Jaxon Anderson; granddaughters, Veronica (Kevin) Foley, Sarah (Colby) James, Alissa (Amanda Trevino) Christian, and Lydia Anesi; and great granddaughters, Charlie-Ann James and Kori Elizabeth James.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 1-2 PM at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral, with nursing honors, will begin at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Lulu Cemetery in Arbyrd, Missouri.
