Mary Arlene Russom

Mary "Arlene" Russom, 86, of Paragould, died Saturday at her residence. She was married to the late M.A. "Mib" Russom. She was a homemaker. She loved gardening, sewing, and taking care of her family. She was a member of Vines Chapel Baptist Church, but due to travel restrictions in later years, they have been attending Beech Grove Baptist Church. Mary was born the daughter of the late Arlist and Irene Rowland. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Rowland and Alfred "Doad" Rowland, and sister, Maxine Rowland. Mary is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Jean Russom of Corning and Randy and Leslie Russom of Stanford; grandchildren, Brandon and Jessica Russom of Corning, Carrie and Jr. Quraishi of Little Elm, TX, Cody Russom of Onley, TX, Andrea and Brian Bounds of Mt. Home, and Chelsea and Dustin Dowler of Stanford; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother, Billy Gene Rowland; and sisters, Estellene Gerl, Geraldine Shewmaker, and Dortha Jean Gillmann. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 1pm at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. David White officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Mike Rowland, Mark Rowland, Allen Russom, Chris Russom, Rick Gramling, and Frankie Pillow.
