Mary Ann Stallcup

Mary Ann Stallcup, 75, of Paragould, passed from this life on Friday, January 27, 2023, in the comfort of her home. She was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on April 18, 1947, to the late Bennett G. and Maxine Satterwhite. Mary Ann graduated from high school and became an LPN. She later graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Mary Ann spent over 42 years as a nurse. In her spare time, she loved to travel, especially to the lake house. Mary Ann enjoyed going out to eat with her friends. She had a special bond with her dogs, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and she loved God deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett and Maxine Satterwhite; husband, James E. "Jim" Stallcup; son, Dr. Tory Lee Stallcup; and brother, Bennett H. Satterwhite.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, James E. "Jimmy" Stallcup, Jr.; daughter, Alexia Stallcup Robb; grandchildren, Brooke (Tommy) Davis, James E. "Jimbo" (Jayme) Stallcup, III, Emma Stallcup, and Allie Robb; great grandchildren, Ayden Davis, Beckett Davis, Masen Davis, Adalyn Stallcup, Everett Davis, Serena Stallcup, Atlas Davis, and Tory James Stallcup; and sister, Kay Lynn (Rudy) Dodrill.

The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4pm at First United Methodist Church. The funeral begins at 4pm with Revs. Dane Womack and Chase Burns officiating. Pallbearers are Kelly Gomer, Jimbo Stallcup, Jimmy Stallcup, Fisher Sparks, Shawn Sparks, Tommy Davis, and Rudy Dodrill. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Leonus L. Shedd and Dr. Stacey Noel. Memorials may be sent to the Witt House Food Pantry or the AMMC Foundation.
