Mary Agnes Rodgers, 88, of Paragould, died Saturday, April 19th, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House at St. Bernards in Jonesboro. She was a devoted housewife, talented gardener and loving mother to four sons. She was born on June 17, 1925 in Paragould, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Herman Wilhite. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil H. Rodgers, her son, Virgil A. Rodgers, her brothers, Huey Wilhite, Garnet Wilhite, Lawrence Wilhite, Nobel Wilhite and Ollie Wilhite, and her sister, Eva Nell Jones. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Sherrell and Gary Rodgers of Jonesboro, Brenda and Kenny Rodgers of Bryant, Patricia and Ronald Rodgers of Blytheville, and Ginger Rodgers of Paragould; her sister, Ruby Myracle, of Paragould; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22nd, at Heath Funeral Home, with service to follow.
