Margret Williams

Margret Louise Lofton Williams of Bartlett, TN died Tuesday January 15, 2013 at North Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN. Born in the "Boothill", Cardwell, MO she married Doyle Williams and moved to Memphis in the 60's where she raised two daughters. In the 70's she married Charles "Chuck" Wilson and they enjoyed traveling across America and often going on cruises, her favorite places were Greece and the Ozark Mountains. She loved gardening, dancing, family and friends. She was a long standing member of East Frayser Church of Christ and attended Forrest Grove Baptist Church in Cardwell regularly was very active in many groups throughout her life. She was a loving mother & grandmother and will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy & Edna Lofton and her brothers Johnny & Donnie and one great grandson Channing. Survivors include her sister June Lofton, of CA, two daughters Debby Warren (Sid), and Judy Moreland-Tiebout of Drummonds, TN, and her long time friend Chuck Wilson,3 grandchildren, Christy Compton (Ernie), Boe Teal (Jennifer) and Eric Moreland, and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1PM Friday, January 18 in Heath Chapel; burial will be in the Cardwell Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her father and family.
