Margaret Reynolds King, 84, of Jonesboro and formerly of Paragould, passed away on May 10, 2021 I at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on October 19, 1936 in Arbryd, Missouri to the late George and Sulla Kirkendoll. Margaret was retired from the David Puryear Center of Jonesboro, and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands, Dutch Reynolds and James King; her son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Gayla Weatherford; brothers, George Kirkendoll, Pete Kirkendoll, Homer Kirkendoll, and Buck Kirkendoll; sisters, Mildred Kirkendoll Williams, Lessie Kirkendoll Crossno, and Betty Kirkendoll Kaseberg.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Kathy Weatherford Chesser of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Jason (Carla) Weatherford, Corey Weatherford of Paragould, Autumn Chesser, and Jessica (Clinton) Jackson of Jonesboro; seven great-grandchildren; a special niece (raised as a sister), Patsy Erlandson of Goose Creek, South Carolina; and a special brother-in-law-, Billy King of Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the Chapel of Heath Funeral Home in Paragould with Richard Lusby and Chuck Gschwend officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Jason Weatherford, Corey Weatherford, Clinton Jackson, Gary Priest, Billy King, and Joe Stanfill.
