Marcus Allen Steward

Marcus Allen Steward, 10, of Rector, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021. Marcus was born in Rockford, Illinois on January 20, 2011 to David and Kassondra Steward. He is preceded in death by his father; grandfather, George Hopkins; great-great-grandmother, Beulah Steward; and great-great-grandfather, Norman Steward.

Survivors include his mother, Kassondra Steward of Rector; sister, Kayeleigh Steward; brother, Michael Steward; grandfather, George (Angel) Hopkins and family of Fayetteville; aunts, Summer (Whit) Powell of Hope and Cheyanne Steward of Paragould; uncles, Derek Steward of Jonesboro and Billy (Brittney) Hopkins of Tyler, Texas; grandmothers, Ronda Steward of Rector and Angie Ruth of Longview, Texas; great-grandmother, Aline Hopkins of Paragould; great-grandmother and grandfather, Ron and Darla Steward of Rector; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1:30 pm at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating.
