Malcolm Carroll

July 26, 1950 — March 8, 2021

Malcolm L. Carroll, 70, of Marmaduke, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. He was the son of the late Cletus and Itha Shewmaker Carroll. Malcolm was a retired tool and die maker from Tenneco, and he was a deacon at New Home Missionary Baptist Church. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Carroll and Nelson Carroll; and one sister, Vanatta Bowery.

Survivors include his wife, Rheta Sanford Carroll, of the home; one son, Bradley Carroll, of Knoxville, Tennessee; one daughter, Kimberly (John) Taylor, of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Hannah Taylor and Abby Taylor, both of Jonesboro; two sisters, Carolyn (Bill) Gibson, of Marmaduke, and Marilyn Price, of Lafe; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-12:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. William Vangilder, Bro. Danny Self, and Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey's Chapel cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews Eric Price, Kenny Walker, Timmy Walker, Russell Carroll, Darrell Carroll, and Justin Snyder. Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Snyder and Craig Snyder.
