Luther Phoenix Street

Luther Phoenix Street passed away on February 12, 2022 in Webb City, Missouri, at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; son, Danny Street; daughter, Patty Szalay; and grandson, Scott.

Luther was the youngest of a family of ten which all have preceded him in death. Luther worked in the Aerospace industry all his life, and he enjoyed and was dedicated to his work. He never had a day where he said he did not want to go to work. He was also very dedicated to his family. He was a great provider and created many special memories for his family through family vacations, road trips, and attending Street family reunions. Luther enjoyed watching Arkansas Razorback football and Kansas City Chief football. After the passing of his wife of 63 years, he moved to Webb City, Missouri, to be close to his daughter, Shirley, and son, Danny. For the last nine and half years, Shirley was with him on his birthdays, Father's Days, and all holidays.

He is survived by his children, Sandy Hannagan of Iowa, Shirleen Law of California, Shirley Campbell of Missouri, Darryl Street of California, and Lisa Pinkney of California; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Mt. Zion Cemetery at noon with Rev. Kevin Edgar officiating.
