Lucy F. Hoggard

Lucy Faye Liles Hoggard, 81, of Brookland, passed away Thursday at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born in Light and a homemaker who loved to flea market and collect old jewelry. She was a member of the Light Church of Christ. Lucy was the daughter of the late George W. and Virginia Brashears Liles. She was also preceded in death by her brother, George Liles, Jr.; sister, Dessie Irene Liles Russell and an infant sister.

Survivors included her husband Billy Hoggard, Sr., of the home; son, Billy Hoggard, Jr. and daughter Joni Lea Bratton all of Brookland; brother, Willis Liles of Light; sisters Fonda Lovene Mariott of California and Virginia Modean Stoll of Orlando, FL.; grandchildren, Christina Dare Jordan of Trumann and Justin Daniel Taylor of Brookland; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 - 8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 pm in the chapel with Lonnie Pyle officiating. Burial will follow at Herndon Cemetery in Jonesboro.
