Loyd "Bud" Howell

Loyd "Bud" Howell, 77, of Paragould, died Friday, December 28, 2012, at his home. He was born September 18, 1935 in Hickory, Arkansas the son of the late Reverend Burl and Fannie Dennings Howell. He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 41 years, Opal Small Howell, brothers, Doyne and Red Howell, and sister, Lucille Bearden. He retired from Darling Store Fixtures after 23 years. He is also survived by his wife of 12 years: Bobbie Shelton Howell, of the home; children: Dewayne, Jimmy, Marilyn and Linda; step children: Kathy, Paula, Jerry, and Nancy; sister: Imogene Wells; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, December 31, at Heath Colonial Chapel with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Reverend Scott Small officiating.
