Loretta Boozer

Loretta Boozer, 88, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Loretta was born on February 20, 1932 to the late Louie Huston Holland, Sr. and Jessie Cannady Holland. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Walcott Baptist Church. Loretta loved Southern gospel music, yard sales, flea markets and most of all people. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland Boozer; one sister, Lois Pezdirtz; brother, Raymond Holland; and one infant brother Larry Ray Holland.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sandy Jones of Columbia, Missouri and Linda (Alan) Winberry of Salem, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Zach (Nici) Huggins of Columbia, Missouri, Justin Winberry of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Amy (Bill) Pendergist of Little Rock, Arkansas; six brothers, Louie Huston Holland, Jr., Charles Holland, Randal Holland, Glenn Holland, Jimmy Holland all of Paragould and Larry Dooley of Florissant, Missouri; one sister, Debbie Dubar of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home from 6-8 pm on Thursday night. The funeral service will be Friday at 10:30 at Walcott Baptist Church with Nathan Gramling and Alan Winberry officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion. Pallbearers include, James Holland, Jeremy Holland, Shannon Holland, Jeff Harmon, Harvey Potter and James Potter. Honorary pallbearers include, Louie Holland, Jr., Charles Holland, Randal Holland, Glenn Holland, Jimmy Holland and Larry Dooley. To leave a lasting memorial, please consider Walcott Baptist Church.

In order to comply with CDC guidelines, there is a limitation of 80 people allowed inside the facility at one time. Face masks are required inside the building and friends are asked to practice social distancing.
