Lora Winnifred White, 86, formerly of Paragould, died Monday at her residence in Evansville, Indiana. She was born June 25, 1924 in Datto, Arkansas the daughter of the late William Irvin and Mattie E. Breckenridge Mandrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred White, brothers, Kermit and Allen Mandrell. She was a member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville, IN and a former member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Lafe, AR. She was retired from Ely & Walker Shirt Factory. She is survived by her daughter and son in law: Pat and Larry Barker of Evansville, IN; step daughters and husbands: Loretta and Wayne Dowler, Lanell and Johnny Goodman, all of Paragould; step son and wife: Laverl and Donna White of Rockford, IL; sister: Elizabeth Taylor of Erin, TN; grandchildren: Terry and Tim Dowler, Lyn Davis, Lehonna Kennedy, Jennifer Luther; great grandchildren: Zac and Alec Wilson, Lane Luther and Brittny, Brooke, Brady, Wesley, Stephanie, Sarah and Seth Dowler and her extended Evansville family: Pam, Katie, Joe, Ed, Bob, Lilly, Joey, Jessica, Tracy, Clint, Tori, Evan, Ryan, Crystal, Kim, Jerry, Rachel, Riley, Cesilio, Kelsey. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home. The celebration of her life will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Eddie Gene Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
