Lola Highfill, 92 of Paragould, formerly of Pine Bluff, AR, died Wednesday at Arkansas Hospice at St. Vincent’s Infirmary. Lola was a retired factory worker and a charter member of the Paragould Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of American Legion Auxillary, VFW Auxillary, Widow Support Group and Greene County E.H.C. Lola liked to do needlework, sew, cook. After she became disabled and could not work in her yeard, she grew pot plants and flowers on her deck and porch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Highfill; parents Walter and Alice Roberts Ramick; brothers Grover and Luther Ramick; sisters, Seigle Sutterfield, Mildred Jeffery and Zelda Berry. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Mitchell Davis of Sherwood, AR; 1 nephew and four nieces. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30-1:30 at Paragould Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 P.M. with Revs. Brian Johnson and Eddie Gene Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
