Lisa Dawn Jarman

Lisa Smith Jarman, 59, of Paragould, passed from this life on Saturday, September 2, 2023. She was born in Corning on December 23, 1963, to the late Lloyd and Clevagene Smith. Lisa graduated from Knobel High School in 1982 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandise and Clothing/Textiles from the University of Arkansas in 1986. It was at the University where she met her future husband, Michael. They were married on June 22, 1985. Lisa and Michael moved to Paragould after he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic. On January 2, 2003, they had a precious daughter, Scarlett Olivia. She loved music, fashion, travel, and golf. When she wasn't on the golf course, she was planning their next adventure. Lisa was a member of First United Methodist Church in Paragould. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Scarlett; parents, Lloyd and Clevagene Smith; and great nephew, Zachery Gage Dodd.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dr. Michael Jarman; Kenneth and Carolyn Jarman, father/mother-in-law of Mountain Home, Arkansas; sisters, Gail Allison (Jeff) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Marcia Woodhouse of Knobel; sister-in-law, Kayla Hatch (Steve) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nieces, Lauren Fraine, Christie Watson (Greg), Haley Priborsky (Clayton); nephew, Blake Dodd; great nieces, Giselle Ellis and Emily Watson; great nephews, Jude Dodd and Jhett Dodd; and her beloved Standard Poodle, Baxter

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM at First United Methodist Church in Paragould. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 AM at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dane Womack officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are John Roleson, Nate Burnett, Bud Wallace, Mike Justus, Brad Brengard, and Cody Mires. Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church or the Paragould Country Club Ladies' Golf Association.
