Lilly Naptali

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lilly Naptali, beloved mother, sister, wife, and friend, who departed this life on February 23, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on October 5, 1969, in the beautiful Marshall Islands, Lilly exemplified the warmth and spirit of her Pacific Islander heritage throughout her life.

Lilly's journey began in her homeland, where she dedicated herself to the role of a stay-at-home mom, nurturing her family with love and care. Her days were filled with cooking, sewing, and farming, all of which showcased her dedication and commitment to her loved ones. She transitioned to Jonesboro where she worked as a packer at Anchor Packaging, continuing to embody strength and resilience.

Lilly was preceded in death by her parents, Albos and Rijen Matauto; brothers, Langchel and Johniton Matauto; and sister, Memory Tangcay. She leaves behind a loving family that includes her husband, Helby Jamodre; her children, Rijen Lang, Cindy Jamodre, Rinty Jamodre, and Johniton Jamodre; her grandchildren, Libby and Eralynn; her brothers, Alson and Radley Matauto; her sister, Neikajok Matauto; and many other friends and family. Lilly's love and spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory lives on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

In honoring Lilly's life, a Celebration of Life will be Friday, March 14, 2025, beginning at 2 PM and end on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 2 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Lilly will then be laid to rest at Linwood Cemetery.

As we gather to celebrate Lilly's life, we invite all who knew her to join us in remembering the joy she brought into our lives. May her spirit find peace in eternity, and may her legacy continue to inspire us all.
